On April 18, 2016 (the "Petition Date"), Vestis Retail Group, LLC and eight of its subsidiaries (the "Debtors") filed voluntary petitions in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware (the "Bankruptcy Court") seeking relief under the provisions of Chapter 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code (the "Bankruptcy Code"). The Debtors are represented by Young, Conaway, Stargatt & Taylor, LLP and Klee Tuchin Bogdanoff & Stern LLP. The Debtors continue to operate their businesses and manage their properties as debtors-in-possession.
On April 26, 2016, the United States Trustee appointed the Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors (the "Committee") in the Debtors' bankruptcy case pursuant to Section 1102 of the Bankruptcy Code. The Committee consists of seven members: Nike USA, Inc., Under Armour Inc., Wolverine Worldwide, Inc., Levi Strauss & Co. Inc., VF Outdoor, LLC, Regency Centers, L.P., and CVS Pharmacy, Inc.. The Committee has selected the Cooley LLP law firm as its counsel. Jeffrey L. Cohen is the principal attorney responsible for this engagement. This website was created to assist the Committee in providing information to creditors, as well as to solicit and receive comments from such creditors.
