On December 11, 2017 (the "Petition Date"), Charming Charlie Holdings, Inc. and six of its subsidiaries (the "Debtors") filed voluntary petitions in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware (the "Bankruptcy Court") seeking relief under the provisions of Chapter 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code (the "Bankruptcy Code"). The Debtors are represented by Kirkland & Ellis LLP and Klehr Harrison Harvey Branzburg LLP. The Debtors continue to operate their businesses and manage their properties as debtors-in-possession.
On December 19, 2017, the United States Trustee appointed the Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors (the "Committee") in the Debtors' bankruptcy case pursuant to Section 1102 of the Bankruptcy Code. The Committee consists of seven members: B.R.E. Industries Inc., A.N. Enterprises, Tri-Costal Design, Prime time NYC LLC, GGP Limited Partnership, Simon Property Group, Inc. and 445 Fifth Avenue Associates LLC. The Committee has selected the Cooley LLP law firm as its counsel. Seth Van Aalten is the principal attorney responsible for this engagement. This website was created to assist the Committee in providing information to creditors, as well as to solicit and receive comments from such creditors.
Case was closed on 12/27/2018.
